Delete your Oz-Cop account
This page is for Q-Cop (Queensland), NSW-Cop (New South Wales) and WA-Cop (Western Australia), the apps opened by the Oz-Cop app. They are all products of OZ-COP PTY. LTD. Each app has its own account, so delete the account in each app you use.
In the app (straight away)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Open More, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, then tap Delete my account.
The account is deleted from the app's server straight away. It cannot be undone.
By email
Email elliott@qcop.org from the account's email address, with the subject Delete my account. Say which app: Q-Cop, NSW-Cop or WA-Cop. The account is deleted within 7 days, and you will get a reply confirming it.
What is deleted
- Your account record: your email address, the dates you used the app and the Terms of Use version you agreed to.
- Every sign-in, on every device. They are all signed out.
- Any sign-in code waiting to be used, and the counts that limit how many codes can be sent.
- Your monthly Ask question count.
- Your review, if you left one. It is also taken off the public review list.
On the device you delete from, your recent searches, recently opened records and recent questions, Ask, your terms agreement and the downloaded material are cleared.
What is not deleted, and why
- Ask questions and answers kept to improve Ask. Common personal details are masked, nothing links them to you, and they are deleted automatically after 30 days. Anthropic deletes questions it receives within 30 days.
- Daily totals with no identity, such as how many questions were asked that day.
These are not linked to your account, so they can't be found or deleted on request.
You can sign up again later with the same email address. It will be a new account.
